waiting for their items to arrive. So, we take great care to ensure that the
items selected are carefully packaged and shipped to arrive exactly as you
anticipate. The following information provides additional guidelines on
shipping jewelry or gift shipping. |

To ensure the utmost security and expediency, borsheims.com utilizes Federal
Express as its primary carrier, as well as the U.S. Postal Service.

For security purposes, please be aware that all items from a single order may
not arrive in the same package on the same day.

If an item is not currently in stock, we will provide you with the forecasted
delivery date.

Overnight shipping can be accommodated if the order is received before 2 p.m.
Central Standard Time Monday – Thursday. All overnight orders received Friday,
Saturday and Sunday will be shipped out on Monday for Tuesday delivery.

Saturday delivery may be available for an additional charge, but it is not
available in all areas. Please contact our shipping office at 1-800-642-GIFT

Complimentary shipping is available on orders
over $2,000 or on items that cannot be discounted from the manufacturer’s
suggested retail price. To expedited your packages, please upgrade to Next Day
Air for an additional $10 or Next Day with Saturday Delivery for an additional
$20.
All jewelry purchases less than $2,000 in total value, are sent FedEx 2nd Day, at a standard charge of $15 or Registered Mail at a standard charge of $20, per address. All jewelry packages require an adult signature upon receipt.
2nd Day Air: Jewelry orders under $500.00 that we receive by 2PM CST will ship out the same business day, as long as shop work is not required. Jewelry orders exceeding $500.00 will ship via 2nd Day, only on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday. If you place a $500.00 or more order after 2PM on Wednesday, your order will ship the following Monday.
Overnight: Jewelry orders under $500.00 that we receive by 2PM, CST will ship out the same business day, Monday through Friday, as long as shop work is not required. Jewelry orders exceeding $500.00 will ship Monday through Thursday only. If your order is placed after 2PM on Thursday and exceeds $500.00, it will ship the following Monday.
For all other items, we apply charges based on the total value of your order.

Depending upon the merchandise and the destination, we determine whether registered mail
or 2nd Day Federal Express is more appropriate.
Signature Required for Delivery – An adult
signature is required for delivery of jewelry items currently in stock and
should arrive in 3-5 business days. If jewelry requires shop work (i.e., ring
sizing), please add two business days to the delivery time. You will be
notified if your order requires shop work at the time your order is processed.
Shipping to Alternate Addresses – For your
protection, all orders over $300 must be shipped to the billing address on your
credit card. If you will not be home to sign for your order, Borsheim’s can
ship your order to your place of work, or another more convenient destination.
As a security precaution to protect our customers against fraud, when you order
merchandise priced $300 or more to be delivered to a destination other than
your billing address, we will confirm that your credit card or financing
company has this alternate shipping address on file. To help expedite your
order, simply call your issuing bank, which can be found on your credit card,
and provide them with your alternate shipping address.
A.P.O. and F.P.O. Orders – Shipping to A.P.O. &
F.P.O. addresses is done through Registered Mail with the U.S. Postal Service.
However, these must then be processed by the military postal service.
Therefore, these orders typically take longer for delivery and we are unable to
provide a tracking number or specific delivery date. If you have already sent a
package to A.P.O and F.P.O. addresses in the past, you can expect your
borsheims.com order to arrive in the same amount of time.
Complimentary shipping is available on any item
that we cannot discount from the manufacturer’s suggested retail price. Gift
merchandise is shipped using FedEx Ground service. We apply charges based on
the total value of your order. These charges are listed on the table below.
