Borsheims has named Janet Saar as their new Chief Financial Officer and Cherie Maline as Controller. <\/span>Both Saar and Maline are tenured Borsheims employees and valued members of the accounting department. Janet Saar, Chief Financial Officer<\/span><\/h2>\n

Saar, an executive and officer of the company, previously served as Controller and Treasurer. She replaces longtime Borsheims\u2019 executive Erin Limas, who retired last month. Saar came to Borsheims in 1997 as the company\u2019s Controller, where she was responsible for accounting operations, including financial reporting, tax compliance, and inventory management. In her new role as CFO, Saar will oversee the company\u2019s financial growth and risk management in addition to Borsheims\u2019 Accounting and Inventory teams.\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Saar graduated from the University of South Dakota with a bachelor\u2019s degree in accounting. Cherie Maline, Controller<\/h2>\n

Maline steps into the role of Controller after more than 22 years at Borsheims. She started as an Accounts Payable Associate in 1999 and most recently served as the Financial Accounting Manager for the company. She will continue to be a vital part of the accounting department in her new role as she leads all accounting operations, tax compliance and financial reporting.
