Steel case, octagonal crown set with a blue synthetic spinel, silver dial, blued-steel sword-shaped hands, shiny navy blue alligator leather strap, interchangeable deployant buckle. Case dimensions: 41.60 mm x 22.60 mm, thickness: 9.45 mm. Water-resistant up to 3 bar (approx. 30 meters/100 feet).

Louis Cartier created the Tank watch in 1917. A legend was born. The first prototype was presented as a gift to General Pershing some years before the watch was introduced into the market in 1919.
