The weather is changing, days are shorter and you may or may not have had a PSL or two, which means one thing: it’s finally Fall! Autumn brings with it lots of opportunities for entertaining at home from football watch parties to Halloween gatherings. This also means it’s the perfect time to update your home décor to a more cozy or spooky motif. We asked our Visual Merchandiser (and resident interior design guru) Gina Sweeney her top picks for trending fall décor you have to get your hands on.
Pumpkin Spice in Real Life
Thanks to Starbucks and Instagram, it’s hard to think about Fall without visions of pumpkin patches and pumpkin lattes. Join in on the fun and decorate your living space with artfully designed pumpkins from Mackenzie – Childs. For a bit of whimsy, the Courtly Check line adds fun touches to the traditional orange pumpkin motif.
If you want to go a bit more glam, shimmer and beads will do the trick.
And for a rustic-chic look, their paper mache (papier-mâché) or flower market pumpkins are sure to stand out.
The Spiritual & Spooky
Another great line to enhance your home for Fall is Jan Barboglio. Many of Jan’s pieces contain spiritual icons that play strongly into some of the Halloween and All Saints Day lore people love and celebrate. The combination of iron and wood are also very warm and heavy, reminiscent of things you seek out in colder months.
Gather Round The Table
Our absolute favorite part of Fall? Gathering all of our family and friends for good food, drinks and fun. No matter the size of the crowd setting the table with Juliska fall favorites is sure to spark some conversation. Bonus points: many of the collections like Pewter, Forest Walk and Country Estate can be mixed and matched for other seasons and holidays as well.
