A striking contemporary take on a Christmas tree, this modernist version is created by abstracted shooting stars, rising together to form a stylish centerpiece. Plated in 18 karat gold, the surface of the stars reflect the lights in the room creating a sparkling tree that is the epitome of festive charm. Believing in a ‘hand’s on’ approach to her work, Danish designer Sanne Lund Traberg painstakingly cuts out paper with a scalpel to create the perfect shapes for her Christmas collectibles. This attention to detail, along with her expert knowledge of Scandinavian modernist design, give her decorations a timeless appeal. The table tree is masterfully crafted from stainless steel which is then electroplated in 18 karat gold in Georg Jensen’s own workshop in Denmark.
