At Borsheims, every diamond purchase is accompanied by a Lifetime Diamond Trade-in Policy. This means that 100% of your original Borsheims purchase price may be applied towards a new diamond purchase of greater value.

The Lifetime Diamond Trade-in Policy applies exclusively to solitaire diamonds, the center diamond of engagement rings, diamond stud earrings and diamond solitaire pendants purchased at Borsheims and must be used toward a higher value purchase. All trade-in diamonds must be in like- new selling condition at the time of the trade-in with original diamond report paperwork. Fees may be deducted for missing diamond reports. . Lab-grown and clarity enhanced diamonds are excluded. The trade value is 1-for-1, meaning the credit must be applied toward one single upgrade item. Exchange Your Gold for Cash


If you have gold, platinum or sterling silver jewelry that you don't wear anymore, we'll give you cash or a credit for new merchandise to be used the same day. Bring in the gold, sterling silver or platinum pieces to our Customer Service Department, and we will inspect, clean, weigh and determine a value based on current precious metal values. We accept all gold purities of 10K and above, including yellow gold, white gold and rose gold.


How Cash for Gold Works


  1. Visit us in-store: Stop by our Customer Service Department and our appraisers will assess your gold jewelry and give you a value; no appointment needed. There is no limit to the number of items you can bring in. Please allow for at least 30 minutes to evaluate an individual item or 24 hours for five or more items. 

  2. Choose cash or credit: After you've been given a value for your gold, you decide if you want to take the amount in cash or in the form of trade value towards a purchase in-store. Cash is offered on the spot, and credit must be used the same day as the trade-in. The trade value is only valid on same-day purchases and not valid on previously purchased items or online purchases.
