The Venezia pewter pedestal bowl is a bit of a departure for MATCH because it is the first time we have used an engraved design within a bowl. In the accompanying video you’ll see a craftsman in one of our Italian workshops creating the final pattern. First, the design was hand-drawn, and transferred to the disc. Then, over the course of a day and a half, he painstakingly engraved the design. When finished, it was used to create the mold from which the bowls are made.
